I Testify (feat. Zelda Nera)
Though I wasn’t there in Bethlehem, I can testify that I know He lives today.

Extraordinary (feat. Becky Willard)
There are miracles all around us, if we have the eyes to see them.

Yours (feat. Zelda Nera Hutzenbeler)
God always sees us as more, even when we might feel less than others around us. His love is unconditional.

Put On Christ (feat. Becky Willard)
This song is a reminder that even thought life gets busy, there is joy and strength when we slow down and soak in the word of Jesus and have His guidance in our lives.

You Speak (feat. Dave Langdon)
God has all power and is there for each of us. As we learn to tune into His voice, we can gain the direction we need in our lives to help us reach our potential.

Born That Day (feat. Zelda Nera Hutzenbeler)
Stories have been told about the birth of our Savior from many different perspectives, but this one is from the point of view of the shelter where He was born.

Broken Pieces (feat. Becky Willard)
Ernest Hemingway said, “We are all broken. That’s how the light gets in.” That light that gets in, is God’s light, and it changes us into something more beautiful! We are blessed through His love and grace!

Steady in the Storm (feat. Michael Lacey)
During the storms in our lives, we can count on God to be that steady rock, and trust that He can calm our soul, even when the storm continues.

Kaleidoscope (feat. Zelda Nera Hutzenbeler)
In a world filled with diversity, it’s so important to look for the things that unite us and to show love for others. Truly, everything is more beautiful when we’re a kaleidoscope.

Beckoning Me Back (feat. Becky Willard)
There are reminders all around us to look up and remember that God is there, loving us and beckoning us back.

Found Me in the Storm (feat. Becky Willard)
No matter how bad the storms in our lives, where we have been or where we are, the Lord can rescue us, transform us, and bring us to a place of beauty and joy. He deserves all our love and praise. You can find more about this song here and can download it here.

See You (feat. Becky Willard)
Our efforts to see and really get to know others is basic to God’s commandment that we love one another, as He loves us. I wrote this song when I realized I have too often sprinted through life, not taking the time to stop and really see and listen to others through God’s eyes and ears. It’s something I want to improve at! You can find more about the song here and can download it here.

All That Matters It’s very easy to get discouraged with limitations and circumstances in our lives that may be out of our control, or that are in our control, but we just don’t feel like we measure up to the task. When it comes right down to it, the only opinion that really matters, is that of our Savior, Jesus Christ. You can find more about the song here and can download it here.

I love to think about God’s refining process in our lives. I see it in my own life and in the lives of those around me. Knowing that He loves us, holds us, and never leaves us, is a great comfort. This is the first song I’ve done where I did all the arranging myself and it was a fun and rewarding experience (thanks to some guidance and encouragement from others). As always, thank you to Becky Willard for lending her beautiful voice to my songs. You can find this and more of my music on iTunes, Spotify and many other places. Here are the lyrics:

Refiner of My Soul
By Suzanne Hodson

The world’s in a state of great commotion
The trials seem to knock me off my feet
The struggles and the pressure feel heavy
I’m searching for God’s master plan for me

Oh great Refiner of my soul
Help me see the image I can be
You break me and use the crucible
This heat’s burning and I’m yearning for relief
You remove my dross and look in my heart
And the process will continue till you see
Your reflection shining forth in me.

Life was never meant to be easy
It’s meant to shape and mold me into more
Removing all the pieces that are broken
And don’t belong when I walk through God’s door

Oh great Refiner of my soul
Help me see the image I can be
You break me and use the crucible
This heat’s burning and I’m yearning for relief
You remove my dross and look in my heart
And the process will continue till you see
Your reflection shining forth in me.

The crucible of life can purify my soul
I know He holds me while I’m in the fire
His love is my peace as the flame rages hot
I want to do all He would require.

Oh great Refiner of my soul
Oh great Refiner of my soul
Oh great Refiner of my soul
Help me see Your reflection in me.

With so much controversy and disharmony in the world, I felt guided to write this song. I’m so grateful to Becky Willard, for her beautiful voice and talents producing my songs. She has helped bring my music to life and I am forever in her debt. Here are the lyrics:

I’ll Forgive
By Suzanne Hodson
Sung by Becky Cutler Willard

I said this and you did that
Pointing fingers about the facts
Everywhere I look, disharmony

In our homes, is it the same?
Selfishness and too much blame
Everywhere I look, negativity

Do you think God is weeping in the skies
Watching as His children fight and cry
Hoping we will turn our hearts to Him
Finding mercy and love to forgive

I’ll forgive, there’s healing in this gift
I’ll forgive, and feel my burdens lift
I’ll forgive, and pray for every foe
I’ll forgive, and feel God’s love flow

Protest lines, inequality
Dismissing others carelessly
Bullied for their diversity

Painful in fuels painful out
The one who’s hurt may turn around
Shattered hearts cry out for empathy

Do you think God would smile in the skies
If I’d dry the tears of others as they cry?
When those feelings come, I’ll turn and lean on Him
Finding mercy and love to forgive

I’ll forgive, there’s healing in this gift
I’ll forgive, and feel my burden’s lift
I’ll forgive, and pray for every foe
I’ll forgive, and feel God’s love flow

Now you can find me crying on my knees
Praying for my enemies
Pleading that His love will be my sight
That they will find their way to joy and light

I’ll forgive, there’s healing in this gift
I’ll forgive, and feel my burden’s lift
I’ll forgive, and pray for every foe
I’ll forgive, and feel God’s love flow
