Hallelujah

Hallelujah began with a desire to capture the wonder of that first Christmas night—the moment when heaven and earth rejoiced together over the birth of Christ. We wanted to write a song that didn’t just remember that story, but invited us to join it. A song that feels joyful, uplifting, and full of gratitude for the Savior who came to bring us hope.

While this is a Christmas song, the message reaches far beyond the season. The birth of Christ is something we celebrate all year long. His coming brings light to our days, peace to our hearts, and joy to our worship—no matter the month or circumstance. Hallelujah is meant to be a reminder that heaven is still singing, and we can lift our voices with that same praise.

The chorus is simple, catchy, and filled with joy—because worship doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful. Sometimes the purest expression of gratitude is simply saying, “Hallelujah.” We hope this song brings a sense of brightness and celebration wherever you listen—whether at church, in your home, driving in the car, or during quiet worship and reflection.

It was such a joy to write this song with my dear friends Donita and Zelda, whose hearts and creativity helped shape every line. And I’m so grateful to Becky, whose musical production helped the message shine. Their love for Christ and their willingness to create something joyful together made this song extra special.

My prayer is that Hallelujah fills your heart with light, peace, and worship—not just during Christmas, but in every season of your life. May it be a reminder that the Savior has come, that He is near, and that we always have reason to sing.

Hallelujah, now and always.

Hallelujah (feat. Zelda Nera)

VERSE 1:
Have you heard the story of the baby
Came to earth to save you and to save me
Son of God, the hope of all creation
Left heaven’s throne, to restore what sin had taken
He’s the reason for our celebration

PRE-CHORUS:
Come and join
In Heaven’s song
As angels sing
We’ll sing along

CHORUS:
Hallelu
Halle – lu – jah
Hallelu
Halle – lu – jah
HALLELUJAH

Shepherds came to see the promise given
Shared the news the Messiah’s here for all men

What He gives us, we could never purchase
He’s the reason for our celebration

Come and join
In Heaven’s song
As angels sing
We’ll sing along
