I haven’t written on my blog for a while. I have two new songs out, Glory, and Beauty from the Ashes. Jesus Christ is our true glory and joy. That’s kind of what both songs are about, but Beauty from the Ashes specifically addresses the way we get through trials.

In Isaiah 61 it talks about preaching good tidings, binding up the brokenhearted, proclaiming liberty to the captives and opening the prison to those that are bound. God can do that for us. He promises beauty for ashes and joy for mourning.

We all go through some tough things in life. God can help us learn from these experiences and even find beauty. I hope you’ll find peace in these songs, and in the challenges you are facing today.
