Nothing Can Compare (feat. Jamie Miller)

Inspired by heartfelt conversations with a friend overcoming addiction and mental health challenges, this song reflects on the spiritual void that only God can fill. The idea grew during a co-writing session, with the goal of offering hope and encouragement. Seeing my friend’s positive reaction has made sharing this song even more meaningful.

I’m grateful for my cowriters, Jamie and Tony, and for Becky’s beautiful production of this song. Jamie did an awesome job on the vocals and I’m so thankful she was willing to share her talents. Please share this with anyone you think would enjoy and benefit from the message.

Nothing Can Compare (The Love of Jesus)
By: Suzanne Hodson, Jamie Miller, and Tony Panzica

VERSE 1:
I wandered in the desert for a time
Thinking no one ever cared about me
I was searching but couldn’t find
The cure for my misery

PRE-CHORUS:
This hole in my life
Will not be satisfied
By anyone or anything but Him

CHORUS:
Nothing can compare to the love of Jesus
Nothing can compare to the peace He brings us
He is patient, He is kind, everlasting love divine
By His love we’re made alive, and if you look you’ll find
Nothing can compare to the love of Jesus
Nothing can compare

VERSE 2:
To the weary, those who carry a million hurts
He says come and I will give you rest
And as the fountain, for all who thirst
Why would I look for less?

BRIDGE:
He calls those with broken lives
Broken bodies, broken minds
His body was broken to save our lives

Love everlasting, no end in sight
Even in the darkest time of my life
Out of the darkness into His marvelous light
