In March I joined Song Chasers, an educational music community, led by Grammy award winning songwriters and producers. This has been such a fantastic opportunity to network with people from all over the globe, who love songwriting! Jesus is My Rock, which premiers May 21st, 2022 at Noon MST, is the first song I cowrote with someone from the group. Kathy Tschida was a joy to write with and I love the song we created together. I took the song to my producer (and vocalist), Becky Willard, and we tweaked the song a little further. I love the way the cello part turned out and I love that it talks of our One Sure Foundation, Jesus Christ.

Song Chasers is giving me a chance to sharpen my songwriting skills and build so many friends! I love that so many of the community members are Christians and enjoy writing CCM. I look forward to seeing what songs come from these co-writes. I just wish I had more time to spend learning and interacting with those in the community! I’m so glad I made the investment to join! Seth Mosley, who started this group has won multiple Grammy awards and has written for bands like Newsboys and for King and Country. He is a great guy, and I love getting to know him and all his team, as well as the many talented songwriters, producers, and artists in the group.
