There are seasons when I pray for protection from anything hard. I want smooth days, good news, and steady ground. But life does not always unfold that way. Sometimes we find ourselves in battles we never would have chosen.
“Through It” was written from that honest place. It does not pretend that trials are easy. It acknowledges the breaking, the longing to escape, the exhaustion of fighting something that seems to have no end. And yet, woven through every line is this quiet truth: we are not alone in it.
Faith does not always remove the storm, but it strengthens us inside it. Over time I have learned that a full life is more than survival. It is discovering that even in sorrow there can be joy, and even in uncertainty there can be hope.
My prayer is that when you hear this song, you will feel carried, not dismissed or brushed off, but carried, held, and sustained. Through it.

VERSE 1:
Don’t want bad things to happen
So I pray for health and protection
Just wanna have a happy life
Sometimes, I feel like I’m breaking
Wish that I could escape it
Stuck in a fight, no end in sight
PRE-CH 1:
Oh, oh, oh, oh
But I keep holding on
Oh, oh, oh, oh
I’ll keep holding on
CHORUS:
Cause You carry me through it
Through it, through it
Yeah, You carry me through it
Through it, through it
VERSE 2:
My faith grows through the trials
A full life’s more than survival
I’ve seen the things that You can do
You are joy in the sorrow
You are strength for tomorrow
Unfailing hope, You change my view
PRE-CH 2:
Oh, oh, oh, oh
I put my trust in You
Oh, oh, oh, oh
I’ll put my trust in You, cause
BRIDGE:
I know that life is hard but You are always there with me
I know You’ll never leave my side, cause
